GFC Member BBQs are coming back! 

It has been over ten months since we scheduled our last Member’s barbecue function. While it was necessary to pause these functions due to COVID, we leveraged technology to keep regular communication and share updates with Members via the highly successful fortnightly online meetings.

But nothing beats the face-to-face interaction these Member barbecue functions afford fishers and staff alike. For this reason, we are pleased to announce that we will be bringing back the Member BBQ’s this month!

While Western Australia is currently enjoying no community transmission, we all still have a responsibility to do our part. With that in mind we ask Members to remember to practice physical distancing and good hygiene while at these meetings. Please don’t attend a Member BBQ if any of the following apply to you:

• You’re feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms;
• You’ve travelled interstate or overseas in the last 14 days; or
• Been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
