Member Services Administration Coordinator

The primary purpose of the position is to provide administrative support to the Members Accounts team, including but not limited to quota leasing, daily liaison with fishermen (members) and investors. The successful candidate will need to be computer savvy and have the ability to pick up new systems quickly.

Duties include:

  • Build and maintain strong, open relationships with all current and potential stakeholders
  • Processing of quota leases, direct leases, pot tender & leases, and contract fishing
  • Assist with financial year-end bonus and premium calculation
  • Set up changes for each new quota year
  • Update CRM notes for each investor and member account
  • Provide other administrative support as allocated by the Member Accounts Manager
  • Providing relieve administration to cover leave in other parts of the organisation

Essential Skills

  • Advanced book-keeping skills, preferably in a medium to large-sized organisation
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, in particular, Excel
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting, administrative, or systems role
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within either fishing/ seafood/ manufacturing industry
  • Experience in an organisation with a strong safety culture
  • Experience in customer service or member liaison
